The right crate does three jobs at once: it protects what's inside, it stacks safely, and it moves through your aisles without wasting a centimetre. Here's how we help customers choose.
Match the wall to the contents
Solid-wall crates keep dust and light out — good for packaged goods and electronics. Ventilated crates let air move, which matters for produce and anything that can sweat. If you're unsure, ventilated is the safer default for mixed stock.
Stack for your ceiling, not your floor
A crate that stacks four high on paper may only stack three once it's loaded. Check the dynamic load rating (loaded and moving), not just the static one, and leave a margin.
Standardise on one or two sizes
Every extra crate size is another thing to store, clean, and track. Most warehouses run best on a single tall crate plus one shallow tray. Fewer sizes means faster picking and tidier stacks.
